[Coral-List] Reef fish survey in Jamaica

Dear coral listers,

I'll be taking 13 students this summer to Discovery Bay Marine
Lab for a week long research diving trip. One of the projects we
would like to tackle would be a survey of the fish species  in
the area. This will be my third trip to this area and have
noticed that the fish in the area are mostly juveniles and there
are very few large or adult fish. Does anyone have information
on previous studies in the Caribbean or Jamaica where local
fishing pressure is significant? Any suggestions on how best to
go about examining the populations of a few different reefs
around Discovery Bay would be a huge help.
