Marine Scientist

Due to continued and sustained growth, Sinclair Knight Merz, a  
dynamic global consulting engineering organisation and a leading  
multi-disciplinary group are offering exciting career opportunities  
in Marine Science.

Our Marine Science team has established a strong reputation through  
the delivery of a broad range of quality marine studies and projects  
for our clients. To maintain this edge, we are looking to appoint  
suitably experienced mid-level and senior marine scientists to join  
our growing team in Perth.

Ideally, applicants will have demonstrated an ability to plan,  
implement, manage and report on marine projects within a team and  
office environment. You will be expected to carry out marine  
environmental impact assessments and have developed strong project  
management skills. For those more experienced, your proven ability to  
lead and manage teams, and drive positive project outcomes will be  
critical for your success. Experience of projects in WA in particular  
and familiarity with the requirements of these regulatory authorities  
would be advantageous

Tertiary qualified in Marine Biology or equivalent, you will possess  
excellent report writing and statistical skills. A commercial diving  
qualification (ADAS) and previous experience with dredging or port  
related issues and underwater acoustic issues would be advantageous.
