[Coral-List] Question Thermal vs PH shift

Regarding range extensions for corals: Another issue that seems to be
ignored is that corals will have to adapt to seasonal changes in
temperature and light that are not present in the tropics, and which
will continue to occur regardless of global temperature change.

Winter cold temperatures, greatly-reduced light levels and short days
seem to be what limit corals in Bermuda from occurring in our inshore
harbours and bays, not the summer heat or long sunny days.

Cheers - Thad
