Subject: Lizard Island Fellowships

Dear all

The Australian Museum offers three fellowships in 2009 to early-career
postdoctoral researchers who will conduct original, field-intensive marine
research at its Lizard Island Research Station on the Great Barrier Reef:

*	The Isobel Bennett Marine Biology Fellowship
*	The John and Laurine Proud Fellowship
*	The Yulgilbar Foundation Fellowship at Lizard Island

Each provides up to AUD $8,000 for field expenses to be spent within one
year. The fellowships do not provide salary.

Eligibility is limited to applicants whose PhD was awarded in 2002 or later.
A single application will be considered for the three fellowships. The
closing date for applications is 31 October 2008.

Further information and the application form are at
http://www.lizardisland.net.au/research/postdoc_fellowships.htm

or http://amonline.net.au/research/ .

Please circulate this to colleagues, potential applicants and any relevant
list-servers

Cheers

Les
