[Coral-List] Flower Garden Banks coral spawning observation

The following observations were made by Flower Garden Banks research team and volunteers at the East Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary in the northwestern Gulf of Mexico, 27.9, -93.6, times are given in CDT.  Water temperature:  83F

August 10 
around 2100 hrs, male Montastraea cavernosa, 1 colony

August 11
2132hrs, male M. cavernosa, 1 colony
approx. 2100hrs,M. franski, 1 colony

August 12
2141-2156 M. franksi, 26 colonies
2149 Diploria strigosa, 1 colony

Will be surveying tonight again at the East Flower Garden Banks, and will report back tomorrow.
