[Coral-List] Bermuda coral spawning Aug 10-12 & Bleaching Report

Just a quick qualitative note to state we have seen slicks of coral
spawn Tuesday 11th through to today around Bermuda.  The slicks were
fairly thin the first two days, but are very thick today. Weather has
been clear and calm.

 

We are under Bleaching Warning, but so far virtually NO hard corals are
bleaching (below 1:1000). However, about 50% of shallow Millepora
alcicornis colonies are partially bleached in the lagoon.
