Dear coastal managers!

 

The Newcastle MSc TCM programme is now in its 22nd successful year and
admissions are open for entry in September 2009! You may find the
following funding tips useful:

 

1)       eligible UK citizens may be interested in the possibility of
NERC funding (up to 10 half studentships including project consumables
grant), if so apply online (see below) and just indicate in your
application that you wish to be considered for NERC funding

2)       eligible Commonwealth citizens may be interested in possible
funding from the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission
(http://www.acu.ac.uk/scholarships/commonwealth.html), Chevening
Scholarships scheme (http://www.chevening.com/becoming-scholar) and UK
DFID Shared Scholarship scheme
(http://www.ncl.ac.uk/postgraduate/funding/search/list/dfid)

3)       international students will often be eligible for partial
University funding (details at
http://www.ncl.ac.uk/postgraduate/funding/)

4)       US citizens can apply to the Fulbright Commission
(http://www.fulbright.co.uk/fulbright-awards/for-us-citizens)
