Dear Trish and Coral-List,I did not invent this information. The same scientists that are using the HBOI Submersibles are the ones who have started the initiative to save the ship and submersibles from becoming scrap metal. The last dives are scheduled to occur this summer, and if the "save" campaign has no impact, then , that will be the end for this technology. The petition letter explains the situation and the research and discovery achieved until today. Please, help us by adding your signatureThanks

> Why would Harbor Branch do this? Where did you get this information? Too many scientists use this equipment for their research, one of my previous professors included. This would leave Woods Hole as the main submersible option on the east coast.
