Apologies for cross posting:

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is soliciting bids
for contract work to generate high-resolution GIS-based models that
predict the occurrence of important structure-forming deep-sea coral
species off the U.S. west coast. Using such models, the contractor will
produce habitat suitability maps that show predicted distribution of
deep-sea corals throughout the Pacific Fishery Management Council region
(i.e., from California to Washington).

The solicitation and scope of work for "Habitat Suitability Modeling for
Deep-Sea Corals off the U.S. West Coast" can be accessed on the Federal
Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov/)

Solicitation Number: *NFFKHC20-10-16530*

Solicitations are to be sent to Gina E. Lee, Purchasing Agent, National
Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, *Gina.E.Lee at noaa,gov* (1305 East
West Highway, Suite 7144, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910), to be received
*no later than August 17, 2010* at 12:00pm.

The proposed contract work is part of NOAA's Deep Sea Coral Research and
Technology Program. Additional information on NOAA's Program can be
found at: http://coralreef.noaa.gov/deepseacorals/
