Postdoctoral Position in Coral Reefs at Florida Tech

Florida Institute of Technology (http://www.fit.edu) invites
applications for a postdoctoral fellowship with Rich Aronson in the
Department of Biological Sciences beginning January 2011 or sooner. The
broad area of interest is the ecology and geology of coral reefs, with
emphasis on the centennial- to millennial-scale history of reef
communities. The tenure of the position is 1 to 3 years, at a starting
salary of $40,000 per annum plus benefits. Duties will include
conducting research, writing grant proposals, submitting papers to
high-profile scientific journals, and supervising the personnel and
day-to-day operation of Aronson's laboratory
(http://research.fit.edu/marine-paleolab/). Teaching is also an option,
depending on interest.

Candidates possessing a doctoral degree in a relevant field are invited
