Dear Artur,

Our organization has a special ICT work group
see: http://www.linkedin.com/groupInvitation?groupID=1265627&sharedKey=77E1A85D776C).

I am also a semantic web techie and Drupal aficionado.

What technical specs can you provide on marina data formats supported?

Our angle is primarily impact on ecosystems and species for the Wider Caribbean.

Hi all,

If any of you are interested in citizen monitoring and reporting of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, please check out the Oil Reporter application (http://crisiscommons.org/2010/05/meet-oil-reporter/). It is free and runs on iPhones and Androids and the code is also available for customization. It allows you to collect pictures, locations, and descriptions of events related to the disaster as they occur. The data will be transmitted to a central database where it will become freely available for help with the clean up and prevention of further environmental damage.
