 Dear All,

The French local authorities in the FWI are actually facing a very important increase of algae Sargassum (Sargassum fluitans?) in the coastal areas, and on the beaches too.
Did this phenomenom affect your territories actually ? If yes, when did it start ?
And do you have some satellite observations or current reports on the extent of the phenomenon when available ?
Please contact Franck Mazeas for any information: Franck.MAZEAS at developpement-durable.gouv.fr
Thank you for your answers!
Best,
