Dear Colleagues,

Somehow or other, the holiday message that my family sends out to our closer friends and colleagues made it onto the list.  I probably pressed the wrong button, not that unusual for me.  Often pressing wrong buttons produces amusing results but in this case it was just annoying!

There is nothing intensely personal in the note, and the pictures did not come through (these the only thing of even remotely possible interest to most of the list members), but i would still have preferred not to have inconvenienced everybody.

So, apologies, and I will be more careful next time.  I have a whole year to practice up!
