[Coral-List] Coral immortality

Art that was a great well composed post. Thanks for joining in. 
Several people have asked if the growth banding becomes narrower with 
coral age. I  have never seen it except where the coral grew up into 
the intertidal zone. In Hudsons classic growth rate paper wich 
included many dozens of large heads there was no indication of band 
thickness change. I loved the Paris and the Costco-fed analogies. Gene
