[Coral-List] The 2011 - 2012 $2500 MASNA Student Scholarship: Application Due July 1st, 2011

The Marine Aquarium Societies of North America (MASNA) is proud to
present the MASNA Student Scholarship.

The application for the 2011 - 2012 $2500 MASNA Student Scholarship is
now available for download.

To be eligible for the MASNA Student Scholarship, applicants must be a
current/entering graduate or undergraduate student at an accredited
college or university.

The student must have declared a major or have an intent to declare a
major in one of the marine sciences. Selection will be based upon the
student's academic history and the student's contributions and
demonstrated commitment to the marine aquarium hobby.

Selection of the winner will be made by a special MASNA scholarship
committee. The committee will have five members: one from Academia,
one from Government, a previous MASNA award winner, one from Industry,
and a MASNA Director.
