[Coral-List] coral bleaching mechanisms

Dear colleagues,

Our new paper describing the transcriptomic responses to darkness- 
induced bleaching in Acropora palmata and Montastraea faveolata is now  
published online at the Coral Reefs website. Using large microarrays  
with > 10,000 features, our study has revealed hundreds of molecular  
actors underlying the bleaching response. Comparing these results to  
our previous studies on heat-induced bleaching, a core group of  
cellular processes emerge for future studies on coral bleaching  
mechanisms.
