[Coral-List] De-funded coral reef research: Aquarius Undersea habitat

Related question:

If Congress moves forward with Reid and Boehner's proposal that there be a
6-month CR for FY13 so they can focus on other issues (sequester, for
instance) does that mean that Aquarius Reef Base will continue to receive
the same level of support as FY12 for that 6 month period, or even with a CR
will NOAA reprogram funds to go elsewhere, therefore still shutting down
Aquarius?

In view of the recent postings about the future of coral reefs, it seems
oceans are still the last in the budget list. Can we do anything?
