Hello Rodrigo,

In your first image
(https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_1yEf-ZYe9BScUnWU110-GJOjuznv0pfXp9u5fI_NOI/edit)
the specimen with extended polyps is from genus Sarcophyton.

The second (https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B7WHyChKLEd2T3AzWllDWEduQUk)
belongs to the genus Sinularia.

These specimens cannot be accurately identified to species level based on a
photograph. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Michael.

Hello Coral List,

I am a Brazilian with limited Indo-Pacific experience and would like
assistance to id two corals from Southern Japan, Ishigaki Island.

These ids are for non-commercial scientific purposes only.
