[Coral-List] On submission length and conciseness

I don't mind the job ads (easily clicked away). I do mind local job announcements; e.g. for US citizens only (makes me feel excluded). This is an international list with thousands of recipients all around the globe. It would be nice if everyone bears the audience in mind.

Warm wishes, GJ

PS As concise as I could make it :-)

Subject: [Coral-List] On submission length and conciseness

I noted that the long advertisement, "Biology Instructor position at FIU" never mentioned coral or coral reefs once! Shouldn't we cut down on the excessive use of the list for job announcements?...especially those not associated with coral reefs. Gene
