Those who wish to get a feel for the basis for the article Gene points to
might take a look at that source to see if they appear to have any
particular orientation that might produce bias.  You might start with the
title, "NetRightDaily" but the type of articles may give you a hint.  Keep
in mind that people can write anything they want on the web, true or not,
and you can find anything you want on the web, true or not.  Looks to me
like a lot of their complaints about others being biased apply to
themselves.
     You could also take a look at an article in The Economist magazine, an
actual printed on paper magazine, which is not the obvious mouthpiece of
any particular political viewpoint. The following article reveals a lot of
complexity in Germany's situation.  I thank Steve Mussman for pointing this
article out to me.
