2013 ACRS Conference - Sydney - 29-30 August

We are excited to announce that the 87th Annual Australian Coral Reef Society Conference will be held in Sydney from Thursday 29th to Friday 30th August, 2013. The conference will be held at The Menzies Hotel in the Sydney CBD, right next to Wynyard Park (http://www.sydneymenzieshotel.com.au). Address: 14 Carrington Street, Sydney, NSW 2000.
Events
Presentations will take place over the 2 days in 3 concurrent sessions, with a poster session on Thursday evening. The Welcome Function will be held on the evening of Wednesday 28th August and the Conference Dinner on the Friday evening. Details on these events will be released in the coming weeks.
Call for Abstracts and Registration
The Call for Abstracts will be opened shortly. We look forward to receiving your submissions. Details on Registration will also be released shortly.
Accommodation

Student Travel Awards
As in previous years, ACRS will be supporting the travel of students to the conference. The amount awarded will be determined on a pro rata, competitive application basis depending on the distance to be travelled and the number of applicants. Registration at ACRS conferences is already subsidised for students so awards are for travel only. Students must be presenting a paper or poster to apply. Application details will be available soon.
