Dear Coral List,

Announcing the launch of a new volunteer program called Ridge to Reef
Expeditions which is based in southern Belize, and a great opportunity for
students who are looking for practical experience in biodiversity
conservation, as well as adventure.

Based at the Toledo Institute for Development and Environment (TIDE), Ridge
to Reef Expeditions differs from many other leading volunteer organisations
in two key ways.

 1) The volunteer program has grown from a need to support real
conservation initiatives within a local NGO that co-manages three national
parks and has a team of dedicated local staff, and

2) TIDE’s work spans a whole landscape, from mountain forests to coral
reefs, so volunteers can benefit from the expertise of different specialist
teams, develop a more holistic approach to management, and learn a variety
of different monitoring skills.

We are taking bookings for our first expedition in October 2013 now, which
we are offering at a discounted price (Please quote CORALWEB when making an
enquiry).

Please click on the following link to access the full program brochure and
to take a look at the work TIDE does, and for more information please
