Greetings Everyone,

The 43rd Annual Benthic Ecology Meeting will be held in Jacksonville, Florida on the campus of the University of North Florida from March 19-22, 2014.

The Benthic Ecology Meeting (BEM) is one of the largest scientific meetings for marine biologists in the USA. The 43rd meeting will be hosted by the University of North Florida and we anticipate more than 600 registrants: a mix of the nation’s top marine ecologists and up-and-coming graduate and undergraduate students.

Following BEM tradition, the 2014 meeting will be a four day event, beginning with registration and a social on Wednesday evening, scientific presentations from Thursday through Saturday, and finishing up with a final night bash at the Museum of Science and History featuring beer from several local breweries, excellent food and a local cover band. Thursday night will also feature a poster session and a film festival.
