*CARIBBEAN ISLAND seeks eco academic for multi-faceted 14 MONTH internship*

We are looking for the right dynamic personality to fill a multifaceted
office position with eventual dive leadership responsibilities. Sea Saba
Dive Center is located on the famous diving destination island of Saba in
the Dutch Caribbean (28 miles from St. Maarten). The island offers great
rainforest hiking, a small village and community appeal while attracting an
eclectic international group of people. The chosen candidate will have 2
job descriptions with time split as needed.  Daily tasks at Sea Saba's
office/retail center include daily coordination of divers and logistics,
basic accounting, customer service, and visual merchandising.  Further, the
right candidate will take over as the 2016 event coordinator for the
annual *Sea
& Learn on Saba *program after experiencing the 2015 event as an intern.


 What we are looking for:

-          20-30 year old diver who is passionate about the environment

-          Minimum Rescue Diver certified or above

-          Eager to learn or improve skills from administrative to event
management, grant writing, customer service and visual merchandizing

-          Person with excellent English writing and research skills (any
additional languages are a plus)

-          General office skills, proficient in all Microsoft Office
programs

-          Must be interested and willing to become Divemaster

-          Minimum 14 month contract

-          Preference will be given to Dutch or American citizens. Any
other nationalities will need the financial means to pay $ 800 for a
residence permit (valid for one year).

-          Must be on Saba by September 20th, 2015 and depart not sooner
than November 15th, 2016



*Preference will be given to persons with an undergraduate degree with a
marine science/environmental/biology background.*
