Survey confirms worst-ever coral bleaching at Great Barrier Reef

http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2016/04/survey-confirms-worst-ever-coral-bleaching-great-barrier-reef

Only 7% of the GBR reefs have escaped bleaching so far, 80% of the reefs in
the north are severely bleached, and some reefs in the northern section
have 50% coral mortality. Also, up to 80% of the reefs in Western
Australia now have bleaching as well.

Open-access.
