[Coral-List] Rutgers Coral Reef Internship

MARCH 1ST DEADLINE

 

The Central Caribbean Marine Institute and Rutgers University have a limited
number of places still open for their Coral Reef Internship in Little
Cayman, Cayman Islands, running from July 25th - August 11th 2016. The
program is for undergraduate students who want to develop their marine
fieldwork on pristine coral reef ecosystems and offers 4 transferable
university credits.

 

Participants will gain experience in:

-                      Caribbean species identification of coral, fish,
algae, and invertebrates

-                      Lionfish dissection 

-                      Coral nursery

-                      Independent research project development

-                      Scuba diving (if certified prior to program)

-                      Oral presentation
