Just seen comments on this issue suggesting the inclusion in compensation formulae of the loss of fisheries in reef areas of Egypt as a result of damage to reefs.
Most if not all important reef areas in Egypt are within the boundaries of their extensive network of protected areas where, for the most part, fishing does not take place. In some parts, like the reefs within the Ras Mohammed National Park in the Sinai peninsula, there is no fishing at all.
Latest data on this of course should be sought from Protectorate section of the EEAA in Cairo.
Cheers
