Dear Coral-listers,

I am happy to share with you a new paper which I hope is of interest:

Flower, J., Ortiz, J.C., Chollett, I., Abdullah, S., Castro-Sanguino, C., Hock, K., Lam, V., Mumby, P.J., 2017. Interpreting coral reef monitoring data: A guide for improved management decisions. Ecol. Indic. 72, 848–869. doi:10.1016/j.ecolind.2016.09.003

This link provides free access till 11th November:

The paper is particularly aimed at those directly involved in reef management. It provides an overview of how to interpret trends in reef monitoring data and a framework for diagnosis and prognosis for a reef. We hope these methods will help with the difficult task of interpreting reef monitoring data and identifying appropriate management actions.

With best wishes,

Jason
