[Coral-List] AMLC Awards Banquet

The AMLC scientific conference planning committees have finalized their selections for the 2017 Student Travel Awards. These awards will assist 17 students (13 oral presentations, 4 poster presentations) with their travel expenses to attend the conference in Merida.

The 2017 Grant-in-Aide for student research will be announced at the AMLC Awards Banquet Thursday evening. The Banquet will be held at the lovely UADY Esplanade, featuring amazing regional cuisine, talented local musicians, and libations, all for $40. Awards will be announced for 2017 best student oral and poster presentations, Student Travel Awards, and the 2017 Student Grant-in-Aid recipients. The recipients of the 2015 Grant-in-Aid awards will have posters of their research on display.

Several pieces of artwork will be raffled off and proceeds will go towards assisting student members in the coming year.
