[Coral-List] 50 Reefs Initiative

My 2 cents,
Start by creating a list of reefs that are not in danger, or reef
ecosystems that do not have a history of bleaching or severe decline for
other reasons. Thus, eliminate them from consideration. For instance, I
sent an email inquiry on reef health to management at Wakatobi dive resort
in SE Sulawesi, Indonesia. Reply was something similar to, "ocean currents
are cooler here, our reef systems do not bleach." I've seen recent video of
both shallow and deeper Wakatobi area reefs... stunning & spectacular.
