Dear all,

Since hurricane Irma, there is many marine sponges that have been washed
along the shorelines of Saint-Martin island.

These sponges can be quite big (around 20-25 cm diameter), the consistency
is quite hard but crumbly (not soft at all), the sponge is all white and
its overall morphology is kind of spherical / oval.

Here is some pictures.

Does anyone know which species is it ?

Thanks by advance for the information,

Best regards,
