Dear Listers:
Greetings! Apologies for the cross-posting. You are invited to participate in the coral reef health assessment and evaluation of socio-ecological resilience in Flamenco Beach, Culebra Island, Puerto Rico. This study is carried out by Nicolás Gómez Andújar, an environmental science student at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. The purpose of this research is to better characterize and further understand the role of the beach’s users in the conservation and degradation of reefs.
If you are familiar with Flamenco Beach, you are invited to participate in this research. If you take part in the study, you will answer a series of questions about your demographics and aquatic habits. You will also be asked about your perceptions regarding the marine ecology surrounding the study area. This process will take less than 15 minutes to complete and will be done in one session.
Some people came to me and informed having trouble accessing the web link I included in a recent posting regarding this invitation. You may copy the the web link below to your browser to access the survey:
Thanks in advance,
