[Coral-List] Announcement of the Pocillopora damicornis genome

I will start by saying I am not a coral person. Having said that, is
Pocillopora damicornis threatened?? In my attempts to keep live corals in
my home tank, P. damicornis is the only species I was able to keep alive.
Actually, I feel like I couldn't kill it if I wanted to (given the crashes
my tank went through). When I see reefs in trouble, P. damicornis seems to
be one of the few that hangs in there (unless my IDs are wrong, which is a
possibility) and comes back quickly. So if P. damicornis is in danger,
coral reefs are truly doomed.
