[Coral-List] Month of the Reef ends at the Colombian Day of the Reef

Dear colleagues,

All are invited to participate during the International Year of Reef
sharing on social media your best photos and videos of natural healthy
coral reefs with the Hashtags #MonthOfTheReef and #MesDelArrecife.
Also your votes as LIKES, SHARES and COMMENTS are welcome. The winners
of the two categories will published on our social media the 5th of
December the Colombian Day of the Reef.

There is also a third category that includes illustrations inspired on
coral reefs that may be performed by kids and general public enhancing
#CoralReefsOptimism.

The objective of the contest is an #OceanAction14819 to underline the
relevance of improving coral reef conservation effectiveness by
removing local stressors meanwhile global stressors are individually
#GlobalBeahviorChange #GlobalBehaviOURchange and targeted by national
governments and international entities within agreement to implement
the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. There is not time
for anymore sacrifices of other coral reefs. Thirty years of
ecological, social and economic sciences point at the very high value
of coral reefs protection.
