Dear Coral-listers,

This is to let you know that the latest edition of REEF ENCOUNTER - the 
International Society for Reef Studies (ISRS)'s magazine-style 
newsletter - is available for download (without charge) from the ISRS 
website at www.coralreefs.org.

As indicated, the magazine is available as a pdf to non-members without 
charge. It contains the latest information on conferences and other 
initiatives, as well as general articles and short scientific reports.

Naturally, if you like what you find in REEF ENCOUNTER, we welcome you 
joining (or rejoining) ISRS. Among the advantages of membership are free 
on-line access to all new and past issues of the ISRS scientific journal 
CORAL REEFS, priority acceptance for publication in REEF ENCOUNTER, 
discounted registration rates at International and Regional Conferences, 
and eligibility for student grants. There are really low rates for
