Teach an intensive A-level course in Marine Science

4 month contract January - May 2019
Salary commensurate with experience

BSc in a Marine or Biological subject required
MSc or PhD preferred

Teaching experience required
A-level Biology or Marine Science preferred

Diving certification required
DiveMaster or Instructor preferred

Course is taught on location in Malaysia
Pom Pom island, Semporna, Sabah
We have access to mangroves, muddy, sandy and rocky shores, coral reefs, 
lagoons etc.
Unique "Borneo road trip" looking at fisheries, fishing techniques, 
human impacts on the marine environment and conservation

360 hours over 14 weeks
16 candidates; aged mostly 20-30
Lectures already prepared
Course specific textbook

Support from the project science team of PhD and BSc biologists.
Some "guest lecturers" in people's fields of expertise

Accommodation is mostly in tents
Food is provided (Bar tab is not)
Veggie-Vegan-Food intolerance are all catered for
