[Coral-List] Call for EOIs for coral reef mapping Research Officer position

The Remote Sensing Research Centre (RSRC<https://www.rsrc.org.au/coastal-mapping-and-monitoring>) at the University of Queensland are seeking Expressions of Interest for a GIS specialist to support our Remote Sensing and Analysis Team with a global coral reef mapping<https://www.allencoralatlas.org/> project. Prospective candidates would ideally have a remote sensing background, with experience in multi-spectral image pre-processing and analysis, including object based analysis, and be comfortable working with large spatial datasets on cloud-based systems. An MSc in remote sensing or a related subject is a minimum requirement. Some coral reef field experience would also be valuable.



Initial appointment of the prospective position would be 12 months full time, starting asap and preferably based on the UQ campus in Brisbane, Australia.
