[Coral-List] Coral Reef Day

Dear colleagues,

Since 2008, the Second International Year of The Reef #IYOR, the
Foundation ICRI Colombia with the Colombian Government has celebrated
the National Coral Reef Day every 5th of december to exalt the high
ecologic, social and economic values of coral reefs.

Since the last five years, our Observatory Pro Coral Reefs created a
virtual space to receive photographic / video reports from the coral
reefs of the world to make a call for action to improve coral reef
conservation effectiveness #GlobalBehaviorChange
#GlobalBehaviOURchange #LeadingByExample #OceanAction14819

You can still participate in the international contest during the
#MonthOfTheReef #MesDelArrecife for the Golden Seahorse until the 5th
of December at 5pm Colombian time, posting your photos and videos with
the Hashtags mentioning our social media (Twitter: @ArrecifesCoral and
@ICRIcolombia ; Facebook.com/ICRI.COLOMBIA and new Instagram account
ObservatorioArrecifesCoral ).

Your help selecting the winners is also welcome, just LIKE, SHARE and/
or comment in the photo, video and illustration of your choice.
