Dear Coral Listers

We would like to share with you a wonderful opportunity for young people to
collaborate in a unique opportunity to participate at ICRS 2020. In
partnership with the ICRS2020 organising committee we are organising a Youth
Leaders Workshop especially for high school students.

Researchers may want to consider bringing family including young, aspiring
leaders to part of this unique and inspiring opportunity to participate in
an international conference and collaborate with world leaders on coral
reefs.

The Youth Leaders Workshop is specifically designed to explore opportunities
to improve the health of coral reefs globally, incorporating key elements of
the UN Sustainable Development Goals 14, Life Below Water and 17
Partnerships for the Goals. This opportunity will enable them to better
understand and communicate reef health issues, relate to coral reefs and
strategise with industry leaders and professionals in their field how they
may become part of the solution in tackling the challenging future of coral
reefs.

The workshop will run over two days of the workshop, but other elements will
likely be incorporated in that will engage and empower students to
collaborate to support solutions that will support the health of coral
reefs.

The workshop will involve both international and local students
