Dear all,

The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST: http://www.kaust.edu.sa/ <http://www.kaust.edu.sa/>) is pleased to announce that it will again host the Red Sea Summer Program in 2019, building on the popularity of this annual program since 2015.

The three-week program will expose students to several aspects of Red Sea reef science, including genomics, ecology, biological oceanography, environmental science, and microbiology. The course includes fieldwork, labwork, lectures, and data workshops.

Successful applicants will receive full funding for travel, private bedroom and bath in a shared residential suite, academic credit, and a stipend for a three-week period of study at KAUST from 21 July to 9 August, 2019. There are no fees associated with the course.

Current undergraduates and Master’s students, as well as recent graduates from these levels, are eligible to apply. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in core biological sciences, preferably also with at least one specialized course, such as ecology, cell biology, zoology, genetics, or marine biology.

For application information, please visit: http://rssc.kaust.edu.sa <http://rssc.kaust.edu.sa/>. Please note the application deadline of March 15, 2019.
