Greetings!

Fortunately, the Chief Information Officer for our part of NOAA (Ocean and Atmospheric Research) has determined that there do not seem to be any additional costs incurred by the government to have our Cooperative Institute employee, Mike Jankulak, moderate Coral-List, and saw no reason why moderation could not resume.  (Mike, however, has to conduct these duties off-site from our laboratory, the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory in Miami, as the Laboratory is closed during the shutdown).

Therefore, Coral-List is back in business and open to all posts to the list, so long as you are not a federal employee using your government email address to post to the list (that is, if you are considered an excepted or non-essential employee.  Note that I am posting from a personal email address.).

Please refer all Coral-List related questions to Mike Jankulak (cc'ed).  Lew Gramer will serve as his backup.
