This meeting will bring together all with an interest in marine science and
policy in the Caribbean region. Focusing on the meeting theme, there will
be two poster sessions and 4 days of oral presentations. The meeting is
open to all that wish to participate. By bringing together participants
from a broad collection of marine science, policy and management; this
meeting will provide a setting for networking, ideas and planning for the
future of the Caribbean. The meeting boasts four keynote speakers; Dr.
Nicolas Pascal, Dr. Anastazia Banaczak, Dr. Steve Monismith, and Dr.
Charles Sheppard; a Welcome Reception Keynote by Jake Kheel and a Banquet
Keynote by the CEO of the Puntacana Foundation, Frank Rainieri. Fieldtrips
have been organized to see historical Santo Domingo, the Grupo Puntacana
Foundation campus, dive trips to experience the reef ecosystem and more.
