Hello Coral List,

I'm writing to bring your attention to a paper published today in Nature
Climate Change that provides hope for the future of coral reefs. The study
is one of the first to demonstrate that management that takes evolution and
adaptation into account can help rescue coral reefs from the effects of
climate change. Importantly, the results show that by making smart
decisions to protect reefs today, conservation managers can generate the
conditions that can help corals adapt to rising temperatures.

You can read the paper online at https://go.nature.com/2J0e8XU or download
it at https://www.nature.com/articles/s41558-019-0518-5.

Kind regards,
Madhavi
