[Coral-List] ocean acidification could boost shell strength

For those that may not be fully familiar with the nutrient enrichment
topic that the two papers are addressing, I would respectfully suggest
reading the papers in the reference sections of both papers. Once you have
the historical background and regional context you will most likely come
to the conclusion that there really is no contradiction between the two
papers.
