[Coral-List] Collective Actions are the sum of individual actions

Dear Colleagues,

In my specialization on Social Psychology, I learned the definition of
Collective Actions as based on the common interests of groups of
individuals. Improvements are possible if individuals join common
objectives #SDGs #SDG14 #SDG13 #SDG7 #SDG6 #SDG17 #OceanAction14819
#GlobalBehaviorChange #GlobalBehaviOURchange

None goals will be achieved, if individuals are apatic, confused, or
just ignore the rationales to improve their environmental behaviors,

According to Psychology, there are some phenomena that explain
limitations in decision making, such as bystanding effect, psychic
numbing and compassion collapse. We in the coral-list have enough
knowledge to overcome those by #LeadingByExample.

Individuals choose their representatives thinking they reflect the
future that they want to live. Of course, not always win the ones we
wanted, but If some of you say to your students, sponsors, friends or
families that "you will not do nor support any individual "sacrifice"
and on the contrary you support unsustainable development because the
task is for your presidents or senators to change laws to improve
environmental behaviors"...They may remain silent but they will see a
contradiction on your attitude and behavior.

If individuals by joining forces start step by step adapting to a more
friendly life style, the change will reduce what in economics is
called the demand (e.g fuel) and the supply (e.g. If scientists stop
supporting unsustainable development, the project developers will
think in innovative alternatives that do not destroy nature).

We are facing the Fourth Industrial Revolution 4IR. The unsustainable
developers should be pressed to find innovative solutions and
alternatives to stop degrading the coral reefs and polluting the
planet. We should not allow the same mistakes against nature.
