[Coral-List] ICRS and ISS Conference Clash

Still in the conference clash topic. 

Next July the fish people will also have to face a tough choice between ICRS and the Indo-Pacific Fish Conference (IPFC) that will be held in Auckland, New Zealand on 5-9 July. The dates aren’t overlapping but I reckon very few people can afford the luxury of attend two major conferences like that in the same month..

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, however, the International Coral Reef Symposium (ICRS), which was originally scheduled to take place this year in Bremen, Germany, has now been postponed and will be held at the same time as the ISS Congress. The ISS and ICRS presidents and conference organisers have met to discuss this clash, but unfortunately neither organisation has any capacity to shift their conference
