This program seeks to foster inter-disciplinary approaches in coral bleaching research and train early career researchers in new skills relevant to coral bleaching. Three individuals will be selected from among the applicants to receive $2500 to work in a different department or institution for about one month to expand their training. Successful applicants will have one year to complete the proposed activity (extensions are available to all 2020 recipients due to COVID19). Applicants need not be US citizens / permanent residents. However, due to funding limitations, applicants must be post-candidacy PhD students or postdocs at a US institution and the proposed work/training must take place at a US institution or facility. Additional application details are given on the application form linked above and on the CBRCN early career training program website - https://u.osu.edu/grottoli.1/coral-bleaching-rcn/early-career-training-program/
