[Coral-List] Impact of the Australian wild fires on marine life

Does anyone know if/how the catastrophic Western Australia fires are
affecting marine life? Or is it likely to have an impact going forward? For
example, ash smothering reefs, or water composition change, associated
blooms etc.?
Would be grateful to hear from anyone who has insight into this.
