Causes of coral diseases and mortality are anthropogenic: Global and local
pollution from gas emissions, cruises, oil vessels, weapon trials and
land-based activities. Also overfishing, sedimentation, dredging, direct
physical destrucction among others.

Efforts should be focused on Citizen Science, Collaborative Decision
Support Systems and miuticriteria Analysis that influence
#GlobalBehaviorChange #GlobalBehaviOURchange #LeadingByExample with a
stronger scientific community that underlines the economic, social and
ecológic values of coral reefs.

We have been talking about this since the 9th ICRS.
