To all reef science students and trainees,

The International Coral Reef Society's Student Chapter is seeking new
volunteers to head the committee.

The ICRS Student Chapter was founded in 2017 by a group of internationally
diverse, enthusiastic, coral reef students and aims to promote student
achievements, advice, and careers. We are directly affiliated with and work
alongside the ICRS council. Many of the founding committee are now retiring
and seeking replacement so that the Chapter can continue its successes.

Multiple roles are open; please see the link for more information. The link
directs to a form which should be filled in and submitted by interested
applicants. It is expected that the roles will be taken on in ca. August,
with an initial 6 months' guidance by outgoing members. Applicants should
be willing to serve at least two years with the Chapter. You need not be a
registered student but non-students should be in entry level/ internship
type positions, or less than two years post graduation. A passion for coral
reefs is also a must!

Applicants from all countries, identities, and backgrounds are welcome -
diversity enables the Chapter to meet the needs of a greater proportion of
early career coral reef scientists.
